Two ways toasts (egg & avocado / hummus & Egg)Print This
- 2 slices Whole-grain (or gluten-free) bread (toasted - optional)
- Half an avocado (mashed)
- 2 tablespoons hummus
- 2 boiled eggs
- Apple juice ( or any of your favourite healthy juice)
- Half a teaspoon chilli flakes
- Sea salt
Boil the eggs by placing them in a pot and cover with cold water.
Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, for about 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat and drain / cool in ice water and peel.
Then slice each egg to prepare to serve.
Avocado & Egg
Very lightly toast a piece of the bread.
Spread the mashed avocado and place the egg slices on top.
To finish , sprinkle some chill flakes (optional)
Hummus & Egg
Toast the other slice of bread.
Spread the hummus evenly and top with the egg slices.
Sprinkle some sea salt, pepper and chilli flakes (optional)
Serve & enjoy.
