The best crispy sweet potato friesPrint This
- 3 organic sweet potatoes
- 1 teaspoon flour / cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Sprinkle sea salt
- Sprinkle black pepper
Preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius.
Peel the sweet potatoes (optional) I always leave the skins on) and cut them into fry-shaped pieces with in similar sizes.
Toss the uncooked fries into a mixing bowl or just onto your baking tray.
Sprinkle with cornstarch (if using) and pour in the olive oil.
Season with salt, pepper, and spices of your choice ( I used chilli flakes) .
Mix to distribute evenly.
Arrange your fries in a single layer (like in picture) and don’t overcrowd, otherwise they will not crisp up.
Bake for 20 minutes, then flip the fries so they can cook on all sides and bake for another 20 minutes or until crispy.
Serve and enjoy!
